Dean Shackel has been appointed as lead project manager
Baystar is excited to welcome Dean Shackel to their team as Lead Project Manager.
Dean spent the last 16 years at Sony DADC in West Sussex where he managed numerous successful projects and was responsible for dramatic energy saving measures.
“We are looking forward to being able to utilise Dean’s expertise to provide further innovative and cost saving solutions for our clients to reduce their overheads. Baystar has been fortunate to secure Dean as a new, valuable member of our team, especially considering his involvement in numerous successful projects with Sony DADC,” said Tessa Guy, Director of Baystar.
Projects at Sony DADC
Dean worked on a variety of projects including: the implementation of systems which recovered heat for warehouses and production areas; the careful selection and operation of D.A.C (Dry Air Coolers) which had a dramatic effect on consumption; and the correct selection of air compressors which were also vital for systems smooth continued operation.
These projects had combined results of over 3,500,000 kWh in absolute energy savings from system per annum.
