Buildings with cultural significance, and those steeped in heritage, require special care and attention. Our engineers have worked on a variety of buildings with cultural or heritage significance including Grade I, Grade II* and Grade II listed buildings, and their knowledge is continuously growing.

We work with our clients, architects and property managers to establish the requirements for the building. Our engineers are used to working in buildings that are open to the general public and have developed techniques to minimise disruption.

The Baystar team is well versed in the specialist techniques which are used to ensure that the integrity of listed buildings is not breached, for example hand digging to preserve the fabric of the building, and hidden services to maintain original aesthetics.

We have a track record of designing, installing and maintaining building services to a number of high profile, historically sensitive properties and establishments, including the National Trust. We provide Hard Facilities Management, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and Sustainable Energy Solutions to buildings with cultural or heritage significance.

See some examples of projects we’ve worked on in the Projects section, and please do get in touch to discuss your requirements with our dedicated office team.
