Combined heat and power (CHP)
Our team of expert engineers are capable of installing combined heat and power (CHP) units. CHP is a highly efficient process that captures and utilises the heat that is a by-product of the electricity generation process. By generating heat and power simultaneously, CHP can reduce carbon emissions.
We can also provide innovative and cost saving solutions for our clients to reduce their overheads, for example implementing systems which recover heat.
District heating and cooling
We also have expertise in district heating and cooling systems. This is an energy efficient and reliable process where hot/cold water and heating are produced at a central plant and piped underground to individual buildings within a specific district. Compared to a boiler in each separate building, a centralised system reduces the investment, risk, operational costs and the amount of carbon produced.
